How to Set up Remote Athlete Upload

Background

This guide is a step-by-step walkthrough of what needs to be done in order to set up athletes to Remote Upload via the Catapult One App. This is to be used when the Pods have been purchased by a Club that wants to utilise the "Athlete-Led Approach" instead of the traditional "Coach-Led Approach" via the Sync Tool. 

The athlete Led approach involves distributing the Pods to your Players and having them remotely upload their sessions via the Catapult One App.

What will you need?

In order to set this up, you will need the following:

• A list of Pod Serial Numbers - See  Catapult One Pod Serial Number
• A list of your Athlete's Names
• A list of your Athlete's Email Addresses

How to set up Remote Athlete Upload:

Set up your Player Profiles in the Catapult One Cloud

• Go to Settings (downwards arrow - top right) Manage Players Add Player (+) icon. Fill in your Player's Details Save
  • See Manage Players

Set up your Athletes as App Users in the Catapult One Cloud

• Go to Settings (downwards arrow - top right) Manage Users Add App user (+) icon. Select the appropriate player in the "Can Manage this Player" section Save
  • See Manage Users

Once you hit Save, your athletes will be sent an email to download, install and continue setting up their profile within the Catapult One App.

Ensure the App user is activated 

• Once your athletes complete setting up their profiles in the Catapult One App, you should see the "Inactive" status removed from beside their names (see example below):

Assign Pods using the Manage Pods section in the Catapult One Cloud

• Go to Settings (arrow icon - top right) Manage Pods Assign your Unpaired Pods to your Players Save
• See Manage Pods

Distribute the Pods to the corresponding athletes

• Give the assigned Pods out to the corresponding Athletes
